The comb came out clean after the second bath
Bath, five minutes, rinse - then the flea comb had nothing left in it.

A pH-balanced cleansing shampoo for dogs and cats that lifts fleas, ticks and dirt out of the coat and leaves bitten skin calm.
Made in numbered batches. Batch 3 is the last at this price.
Bath, five minutes, rinse - then the flea comb had nothing left in it.
Old boy, thin coat, and it did not irritate his skin at all.
She hated the sink, she loved being clean. No sore patches after.
A cleansing shampoo. It washes fleas, ticks, eggs, dirt and flea dirt out of the coat while it lathers, and it soothes the skin they have been biting. It is not a pesticide and it is not a substitute for the flea treatment your vet prescribes.
For an established infestation, treat the animal and the house with your vet's advice - the bath is what gets them comfortable in the meantime.
Wet the coat right through, work the shampoo in from the neck down to the tail and paws, leave the lather on for five minutes, then rinse until the water runs clear.
Comb through with a flea comb while the coat is still damp - that is when the fleas and eggs lift out most easily.
As often as they need a bath while the itching lasts, then whenever they get dirty. It is gentle enough for regular use.
Bathing more than about once a week can dry any coat out, so watch the skin.
Both, and the same way. Cats take a sink better than a bath, and a second pair of hands helps. Keep it away from the eyes, the ears and the mouth.
Not for puppies or kittens under twelve weeks, or for pregnant or nursing animals, without asking your vet first.
Patch-test a small area first if their skin is already broken or very sore, and rinse it off straight away if the skin reddens.
Stop use and speak to your vet if the irritation gets worse rather than better.
100 ml / 3.38 fl oz with a flip cap. That is roughly eight baths for a small dog or a cat, fewer for a big double-coated dog.
Big dogs and multi-pet houses get through it quickly - the three and five bottle packs are the cheaper way to buy it.
One flea on the comb means eggs in the carpet and bites along the belly. Meanwhile they scratch all evening, the coat smells musty, and a bath with ordinary shampoo washes the smell off and leaves everything else exactly where it was.
Fleas, eggs and flea dirt sit down against the skin under the coat. Lather that stays on for five minutes floats them off, and the rinse carries them away - then a flea comb through the damp coat catches what is left.
That is a bath doing something, instead of just smelling nice.

A rinse-and-go wash moves dirt around. This one is meant to sit: wet the coat through, work the foam from the neck down to the paws, and leave it for five minutes before you rinse. That is long enough for the lather to lift fleas, ticks, eggs and flea dirt off the skin so they leave with the water.
Most flea washes are written for dogs and quietly warn you off cats. This one is made for both, at the same strength and the same five minutes. A sink, warm water and someone to help is all it takes, and their coat comes out soft rather than stripped.
Flea bites leave small angry spots and a coat full of grit, and a harsh shampoo makes both worse. pH balanced and free of parabens, this one cleans without stinging, and it softens the coat enough to comb through afterwards - which is where the rest of the fleas come out.
Flea dirt and grit sit down at the skin where brushing never reaches. A full five minutes of lather, then a rinse, is what actually takes it out - and the scratching usually drops the same evening.
A greasy, flaky coat and a back paw going at one ear is the same problem on a cat, and it gets the same wash. Their coat comes out sleek rather than stripped.
The point of bath day is the hour afterwards: a coat that smells clean, skin that is not being bitten, and a dog that settles instead of chewing at its flank.
Every animal is different, and a real infestation needs your vet as well as a bath.

The rinse water told me everything I needed to know.
Labrador owner
Gentle enough that I used it on the cat the same night.
Two-pet household
Coat came out soft, and the comb came out clean.
Spaniel owner
No stinging on the bitten patches, which was my worry.

It is a cleansing shampoo, not a pesticide. It washes fleas, ticks, eggs and flea dirt out of the coat while it lathers, and it soothes the skin they have bitten. For prevention or an established infestation, use the treatment your vet prescribes.
Yes - the label is for dogs and cats, and the method is the same. A sink is easier than a bath, and keep it out of the eyes, ears and mouth.
It is pH balanced and paraben free, and owners report a softer coat afterwards. Bathing more than about once a week can dry any animal's skin, so watch it.
100 ml / 3.38 fl oz is roughly eight baths for a cat or a small dog. A big double-coated dog will use a good part of a bottle each time.
Ask your vet before using it on animals under twelve weeks, or on pregnant or nursing pets.
We picked up fleas from the park and I wanted them off her that night. Lathered her up, left it the full five minutes, rinsed, then combed her while she was damp. The comb came out clean on the second pass and she slept properly.

Dog in the tub, cat in the laundry sink, one bottle. Neither of them reacted to it and both coats felt soft afterwards, which I did not expect from a flea wash.

My spaniel had raw little patches round her tail and I was worried a flea shampoo would burn. She stood in it quite happily and the redness settled over the next couple of days.

No medicated stink in the bathroom afterwards and the dog did not smell like a vet clinic for a week. He is scratching far less and the coat looks brighter.

It got them clean and comfortable and the itching dropped right away. The fleas came back off the carpet until I washed all the bedding and vacuumed properly, so treat the house at the same time and keep the vet's prevention going.

For external use on dogs and cats only. Avoid the eyes, ears and mouth. Patch-test sensitive or broken skin and rinse off at once if the skin reddens. This is a cleansing shampoo, not a flea treatment or preventative - ask your veterinarian about prevention, and before use on animals under twelve weeks or pregnant or nursing pets. Keep out of reach of children.
