  • 2-month supply of filters - three-layer activated carbon, fitted under the lid
  • USB charging cable
  • Instruction card - setup takes about two minutes

Replacement filters are sold separately. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

How the filtration works

Water is pulled from the bottom of the bowl, pushed up through a three-layer cartridge and out of the faucet arm, so it is filtered continuously rather than only when you refill.

The layers are a mechanical pre-filter for hair and grit, activated carbon, and an ion-exchange media. Between them the manufacturer reports removal of up to 99.9% of chlorine, 95-98% of heavy metals such as lead and copper, and 90-95% of pharmaceutical residues found in municipal water.

Change the cartridge every two weeks to keep that working.

The numbers behind it

Hydration does more for a dog's long-term health than almost anything else.

96% of dogs

Drink more water from a moving stream than from a still bowl

Based on manufacturer customer feedback
60% of dogs

Face higher urinary health risk when daily water intake stays low

1 in 3 dogs

Suffer kidney disease linked to chronic poor hydration

Why owners switch from a plastic fountain

No hum, no pink slime in the corners, no daily fiddling.

Faucet-style flow

A visible arc of water, which is the thing dogs already go to the sink for.

Cleans in under 5 minutes

Four parts, no crevices. Rinse them or put them in the dishwasher.

Genuinely quiet

Under 25 dB. It will not wake you and it will not spook a nervous dog.

Up to two weeks per fill

A 4L bowl is roughly 12-13 days for one dog. Less topping up, less checking.

Nothing to plug in

Rechargeable, so it goes where your dog drinks rather than where a socket is.

Stainless steel build

Blocks 99% of bacteria, and prevents the slime, mould and dog acne that plastic bowls cause.

The easiest change you can make to your dog's health

Low water intake is behind more problems than most owners realize
HYDRATION AND THE KIDNEYS

Low water intake is behind more problems than most owners realize

Chronic kidney disease is one of the most common conditions in older dogs, and poor hydration is one of its recognised contributors. Urinary problems follow the same pattern. A dog that drinks a little more every day is doing the single cheapest preventative thing available to it.

  • Dogs drink more from flowing water than still water
  • Better hydration supports kidney and urinary function
  • The effect is cumulative - it comes from every day, not one day
A wide, open bowl at the right height
BUILT FOR HOW DOGS DRINK

A wide, open bowl at the right height

Most fountains are cat fountains sold to dog owners - too small, too low, and too easy to knock over. This one is a wide open bowl a big dog can get its whole muzzle into, at a height that does not make it crane its neck, with a lip that catches the slobber and drips instead of putting them on your floor.

  • Wide enough for any size of dog
  • Splash lip keeps the floor dry
  • No neck strain and nothing to tip over
Put it where your dog actually drinks
NO CORD, NO SOCKET

Put it where your dog actually drinks

It runs on a rechargeable battery for up to thirty days between charges, with three flow modes. That means it goes in the hallway, the utility room, out on the decking in summer - wherever your dog spends its time, rather than wherever the nearest plug happens to be. And there is no cable for a puppy to chew.

  • Up to 30 days on one charge
  • Three modes for different drinking habits
  • Take it outside, or away with you
Two weeks of water, four parts to wash
LESS MAINTENANCE, NOT MORE

Two weeks of water, four parts to wash

The reservoir holds enough that you are refilling it a couple of times a month rather than every morning, and when it does need cleaning it comes apart into four pieces with nothing fiddly to poke at.

  • 12-13 days of water for one dog on the 4L
  • Four parts, all dishwasher safe
  • Water level window so you can see it at a glance

The plastic one went in the bin the same week

We had a plastic fountain for two years and I was scrubbing pink slime out of the corners every Sunday. This one comes apart into four bits and goes in the dishwasher. Two months in and the steel still looks like it did on day one. I should have swapped years ago.

He'd only ever drink from the tap. Now he drinks from this.

Nine-year-old labrador who has ignored a water bowl his whole life and stands at the kitchen sink instead. Took him about three days to work out the fountain and now he uses it constantly. The vet had been on at me about his water intake, so this has genuinely solved something.

Quiet enough to leave in the bedroom

My last one hummed and my whippet wouldn't go near it. I cannot hear this one at all unless I'm standing over it. It lives on the landing now, which is where she actually sleeps, and it runs all night without waking anyone.

No cord was the whole reason I bought it

Our two are in the utility room and there is one socket in there with the washing machine in it. Being able to just put the thing down wherever we liked was the selling point. Charge lasts about three and a half weeks for us with two dogs on it, so once a month on the USB and that's it.

Great fountain. The 4L is smaller than I pictured.

No complaints about how it works - my spaniel took to it straight away and it is easy to keep clean. My only note is that I'd have gone for the 7L if I'd looked at the measurements properly. With one medium dog I'm refilling it about every ten days, which is fine, just not the two weeks I expected.

Frequently asked questions

How often do the filters need changing?

Every two weeks keeps the filtration working properly. Your fountain ships with a two-month supply, and replacements are sold separately - there is no subscription and nothing renews on you.

Is it safe for my dog?

Yes. It is 304 food-grade stainless steel and BPA-free, and it is designed to reduce the bacteria, slime and mould commonly found in plastic bowls - the steel blocks 99% of bacteria.

Will my dog actually drink more?

Most dogs prefer moving water - it is the same instinct behind a dog that wants the tap on. The faucet-style stream is there to trigger it, and 96% of dogs are reported to drink more from it than from a still bowl. If yours is the exception you have a year to send it back.

Is it noisy?

No. The pump runs under 25 dB, which is quieter than a whisper. You can leave it running overnight in a bedroom, and it is quiet enough not to put off a nervous dog.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 30 days on a full charge, depending on which of the three flow modes you use. It charges over USB.

Can I put it anywhere?

Yes - that is the point of it running cordless. Hallway, utility room, out on the patio in summer. No socket needed and no cable for a puppy to chew.

How hard is it to clean?

Under five minutes. It comes apart into four pieces with no small parts and no awkward crevices, and the steel components are dishwasher safe.

How much water does it hold?

The 4L holds 135 oz, which is about 12-13 days for a single dog. The 7L holds 236 oz and suits a big dog or a household with more than one.

Is it suitable for more than one dog?

Yes. The bowl is wide and open rather than a narrow cat-sized dish, so two dogs can drink without getting in each other's way. Go for the 7L if you have two or more.

Does it work outside?

It is fine on a covered patio or decking in normal weather. It is not waterproof, so do not leave it out in heavy rain or below freezing.

What if my dog won't use it?

Send it back. You have 365 days for a full refund, which is deliberately long because some dogs take a week or two to switch over from a bowl they have used for years.

How long does shipping take?

Orders leave the warehouse within 24-48 hours and shipping is tracked. The cost is calculated at checkout against your address, so nothing is added afterwards.

Give it two weeks

Most dogs are drinking from it within a day or two. If yours is not, you have a full year to send it back.

365 days to change your mind

A dog that has drunk from the same bowl for years can take a week or two to switch. That is why the return window is a year rather than a month - if it never wins your dog over, send it back for a full refund.
